Praise and Prayer

An informal time of praying and singing on alternate Thursdays (with Home groups) at 7.30pm at the church lounge. Praise and Prayer is led by members of the congregation who use themes and current needs to shape the content. Those who attend are invited to pray aloud or in silence.

• as trypraying continues, pray for each of us as we read the booklet, learn about prayer and who we give a copy to,

• for Blacket Place and Avenue and Dryden Place – so near but maybe unknown, walk round the area and pray as you go,

us, Craigmillar Park and Reid Memorial Churches – help us to have a new vision for mission and compassion for our area.

• as the nominating process progresses, for protection, provision and providence in all circumstances,

• giving thanks for the Manse Group as they work hard to get the manse ready for its new occupants,

• as Lent progresses and Holy Week approaches, for this opportunity to spend time considering the significance of to us,

• for Helen Tew, our Locum and Mike Taylor, our Interim Moderator and their families.

• and our Messy Church on Saturday 31st March, for families and for our leadership team and musicians .For us all to be blessed.
