Hi there and welcome to Edinburgh from Priestfield Church!
We hope that this is the beginning of a new adventure of learning and growing as you come to study in this beautiful city. Have a fulfilling and exciting time at university this year and if you are looking for a church, or just curious as to what church is all about, come and visit us. We’d love to meet you.
Things to know about Priestfield Church:
Priestfield Church is on Dalkeith Road just a couple of hundred metres from the Commonwealth Pool on the way out of town.
We meet for 10.30am on Sundays and there’s coffee after the service with a chance to get to know folks. In term time there’s a ‘bring and share’ student lunch.
The congregation of 60 or so is a real mix of people, some younger, others older. They are keen to get to know you and provide a home from home for students during their studies.
We have a mission to reach out to the community and to students in our area and it would be great if you could be a part of that too. There are many opportunities to serve at Priestfield and like a family we all muck in and contribute what time and skills we can. And we’re looking for new ideas.
Our Minister, Jared Hay, is an Honorary Chaplain and is available to students across the University.
