Hello and welcome to Edinburgh!

We hope that this is the beginning of a new adventure of learning and growing as you come to study in this beautiful city. Have a fulfilling and exciting time at university this year and if you are looking for a church, or just curious as to what church is all about, come and visit us. We’d love to meet you.

The Facebook logoOn this page you will find a general overview of what we do. For more details of what we have planned each week please see the ‘Priestfield Church’ Facebook page.

We have  regular ‘bring and share’ lunches after the 10.30 am service. Bring along something you like to eat and share it with others. After lunch we share in a short bible study or discussion.

There are also film nights and cooking nights where members of the congregation share their culinary skills.

If you are musical you could join the choir or worship band in which a number of our current students are involved and be a part of leading the worship.

Taizé prayers

We hold a monthly prayer in the style of Taizé at 8pm on the last Sunday of each month which is followed by hot chocolate. Taizé worship is very reflective including the use of silence and the repetition of short, but delightfully musical, chants. You can find out more about the Taize Community here: .

Charity events

As a student group we  also get involved in fundraising events such as the Bethany Big Sleepout, a soup and sandwich lunch for Christian Aid and events during Fairtrade Fortnight.
